New 17th St. Safety Center!

 
 

On June 27, 2012, the new Del Mar Lifeguard safety center was dedicated and open for business.

  
 

Funded by the Friends of the Powerhouse, the California Coastal Conservancy and the City of Del Mar, the new, 2,800 square foot facility is not only an architectual masterpiece among lifeguard buildings in the world but it provides state of the art equipment and technology to continue the perfect safety record that has been maintained by "California's Finest" - The Del Mar Lifeguards.
